Its cool

Much better than some of the other stuff Ive reviewed recently :P

I might be a bit generous but Im a huge Naruto fan, and putting me as a naruto cosplay character is a step closer to the real thing. I just hope I don't actually start looking up headbands and kunai...

Its cool, not the best dress-up ive seen but theres some cool mash-ups you can have. I reckon there is not enough clothes really, and things like Lee/Guy's green clothes should have been a must. Yeah, the main disappointment is the lack of choice, put in more clothes, more customization and you're onto a winner.

Oh, and the clothes-over-each-other buttons? Theyre awesome :)

Knight-Of-Nights responds:

Lee/Guy's clothes are in there. I agree, the next step is to custom draw new things that add to selection but aren't character specific. Thanks for an honest review and not spamming a 10.

Why this game is deserving of this long review...

Im going to start at the positives, theres some good music from Blop (you should of credited blop though) and some basic everyone-knows-about gameplay, so its very pick-up-and-play. Invincibility and 10 points were nice litte gifts, and wii-compatible is always a nice boost. Its a very simple game, so theres nothing over-the-top about it. Um, Im starting to run out of things to say.

I could go on and on now about how good this game could of been but I shouldnt, I know you're not the most amazing flash programmer on the block and I cant expect you to of made the perfect game. What I will say is that you kinda stopped at what could of been more. For example, take my game SWW. We could of stopped at a few times, but we've kept building and building on top of it, until we can hopefully reach a skyscraper. Its like living in a flat when you can live in a house of your own.

Wow, I never knew I was that good at metaphorically speaking.

I LOVE THIS GAME!

Im a programmer so when I saw this I was like "OMG MUST PLAY". I completed it using 196 commands :P If no-one knows how to do the last two levels, you know you can put a function in a function, right? :D I love this game so much but I was disappointed when the game ended. I would love to do more puzzles like these!

You just crammed a coconut with too much stuff.

Why do I say you crammed a coconut? this game is metaphorically a coconut, mainly because the basics of this game (bubbles+tanks = game) are small. You then tried to put, in my opinion, too much content into the game. I got bored after getting a level 3 balanced fighter, lost loads of damage over an unseemibly unbeatable enemy and lost a level, giving up after trying to find areas to go back to.

The game map itself needs the map - you dont know where you are in relation to the starting bubble and trying to remember which one youre at only loses your concentration. In the end I lost track of where I was.

All this game involves you to do is to enter a room and kill all in it. Just holding down the mouse button to fire is a pain - easy way to get muscle strain or a selotaped mousebutton, would of been better if there was also a ctrl/shift button to fire aswell. The game would of made this game better with other gameplay - maybe shove in a puzzle or two to break down the action.

It seems youre always limited in movement, since the bubble is such an enclosed area, youre more or less entering and exiting areas. The camera is focused on such a small area that at times I found myself blind-firing to hope if Im hitting the target. The health system is poor, since you dont have one (only losing speed, thats it?) death in the game, even if the ship is really low statistically.

I probably have loads more to say about this game, but im tired and cant think straight. This game should of been much better if it was all-together made to a high standard. Please dont release 3 without seriously thinking of some more useful changes to the game.

I dunno...

With every game I review I reckon Im harsh, but then again I gotta be, I reckon. I cant really call this "insane", because it wasnt. It was hard, but theres nothing much insane about waving your mouse about and holding the left click down. It wasnt cool weapons, more like modding the hell out of the ship, like a pimp my ride spaceship edition. An alternative to the same old thing (maybe a right click aswell?) would of been nice. It seems that this game lacks shields. The graphics are strange since its like a mix of two different styles, which dont go well together. The music is annoying, and theres no way to stop it. Its wierd that you go on missions and you dont know what you actually have to do in that mission except shoot everything you see. After level 6 I was tired of the same thing, and gave up. Its still a good game though, but could of been better.

Hmm

One thing I noticed about this one is that you cant put in your own exp, so for example it says I need 150xp to get to the next level when actually I only need 60. But its cool and handy if I ever need it, which probably would be never. Must of took a long time to get every level and the xp.

The graphics itself loook like a watered-down version of NG, and the music is horrible, the original handbag loop sounds much better.

But away from me being a hard critic, good work.

andy70707 responds:

Yeah, i didn't really think about the exp thingm and the origional handbag loop is sooo annoying and far too overused. Anyway, glad you liked it.

Nooooooooooooo

What can I say? Did you not read my last review?

Aw man this game was different. The controls are really confusing and not explained very well, I had to read through the instructions like 5 times until realising what was going on, and again the control instruction menu didnt seem to want to work for me, when clicking restart (as in I wanted to restart the game) I got taken to the start of the controls menu. The restart button didnt take me into the game so I had to go through all of the controls again :(. I liked every tile interacting differently and the graphics were pretty neat, music was a good choice for this game and theres a few things to do. Problem is, that I gave up on the game out of pure frustration. I kept getting confused with the difference in a 2-jumping arrow and a 3-jumping arrow, even though I know theres a plain difference in them.

I am very disappointed, this is again that "another armour games game". Where is that epic game you mentioned from your reply of my last review? Please, dont make any more of these, although they are good and all you can do much better, you must know that :P.

Im going to give you guys a 4, because I know you did put some effort into this, but again the disappointment factor that came from me playing this game lowered the score drastically. My advice - stick to what you're
function makeapointoutclear () {
return "really";
}
textinitalics = makeapointoutclear();
good at...

Woa, would that actually work? Probably not :P

ok what?

Same game. Same stuff. Nothing new.

I could literally copy and paste my last review into this one, but I cant be bothered. It seems again another sucky Armour Games game comes out, gets over-rated, then disappear into the depths of the portal. Please dont make more, originality is better than samey.

Oh dear

Before even playing this game, I had problems scrolling around the control options, surely a simple bug like that shouldnt of went past you?

This felt like "just another Armour Games game", where is the super flash bros games gone like climate chaos?

The-Super-Flash-Bros responds:

haha we've got another big one up our sleeve, you wait.

Woa

I made a better platformer flash ages ago and I sucked back then.

Could of been much better.
